Regular Share Account

The UCU Regular Share Account is similar to a Passbook Savings Account, with many more benefits. It represents your share of member-ownership, while offering complete liquidity and generally higher dividends than comparable accounts elsewhere.

Each member is required to have a Regular Share Account with a minimum balance of $5. This primary Share Account will also be accessible at an ATM.

Special Purpose Savings Account

UCU makes it easier, and even fun, to save money. We designed a way for you to customize or personalize additional savings accounts by naming them for the purpose they’re intended. A new twist on the old Christmas Club account of the past, with only $5 to start, your individualized accounts will have their own name. Some examples include: Property Taxes, Christmas, Kids College, Vacation Fund, Fun Money, etc.

It's a great way to separate and track savings for individualized expenses or savings goals. Contact a credit union representative at a branch or by phone (310) 477-6628, x1, to arrange for your special-purpose savings account.

Your savings federally insured to at least $250,000 through the National Credit Union Administration (a U.S. Government Agency) and backed by the full faith and credit of the United States Government.
