Our team of highly-trained experts is focused on providing everyone in the University Community a financial advantage. Since 1951, University Credit Union has been an active partner of the university community. From the early days, when a group of pioneering and passionate UCLA employees created an alternative to for-profit banks, to now where we strive to support almost every area of our University partners' lives. - Students, employees, faculty, and alumni of any university, college, or other higher learning institution in Southern California.* This includes (but isn't limited to) all University of California schools (UC Berkeley, UC Davis, UC Irvine, UCLA, UCLA Extension, UC Merced, UC Riverside, UC San Diego, UC San Francisco, UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz), Loyola Marymount University, Pepperdine University, Loyola Law School, Saint Mary's College, Mount St. Mary's University, Santa Clara University, Chabot College and Las Positas College, Otis College of Art and Design.

- Immediate family members of a current member who joined as an employee, student or alumni of the above university or employer groups. Immediate family members1 include parents, step-parents, grandparents, husband, wife, children, step-children, grandchildren, brothers, and sisters.
- Permanent members of a household of a current member who joined as an employee, student or alumni of the above university or employer groups.
- Retirees of any of the employer groups above.
- Any member in good standing leaving the field of membership as herein defined may retain his/her membership in the Credit Union.
